Fallout 3
The Game!
200 years after the nuclear apocalypse, 116 years after Fallout and 36 years after Fallout 2, Fallout 3 initially takes place in Vault 101, a sheltering chamber that houses 1000 people from the nuclear fallout. The main character’s Father who is a big shot member in the Vault has disappeared mysteriously and so the overseer of the vault initiates martial law and holds the main character responsible for treason. Thus the main character has to escape the Vault and into the Capital Wasteland, which was once Washington DC.
There he meets other survivors and myriad of hostile creatures, groups and enemies, as he tries to look about his father’s disappearance mystery.
The Gameplay!
The gameplay of the Fallout 3 is marvelous! It is one of a kind experience that sets a surge of excitement everytime you enter this world to carry on new missions along with the main one. The game is in FPS format but can be changed to third person view as well, the battles system of F3 is unique and pretty hand too if used well! There is this system called V.A.T.S. (Vault-Tech Assisted Targeting System) that helps the MC stop the real time action when facing an enemy, select specific limbs to do heavy damage or even one shot kills using attack points, which is a pretty cool thing but only when attack meter gets full.
There is a Karma system that works on your good deeds and bad ones and makes you look good or bad in the eyes of different factions or settlements. There are two types of health meters, one the regular one and the other, limb related which when damaged may affect your that limb’s proficiency (like you won’t run or walk ok if legs get damaged).
There is also the perks system that allows you to upgrade your various skills and be more apt by each level of upgrade.
And of course the main thing is the setting of the game’s world, the factions, the settlements and the weirdly cool post apocalyptic social structure that makes you go ‘WTF’ or ‘WHOA!’ often.
The Company!
Developed by Bethesda Game Studios, published by Bethesda Softworks for PC, X360 and PS3, this action RPG title was released in October 2008.
The Appeal!
There are things that can’t be described in words, but we’ll try, you are a lone stranger, in a foreign like barren land that is filled with ghost towns and strange groups of people all trying to make it out alive, some of them are very dangerous and some of them are doubtful, and pretty often scavengers are out to find loots and stuffs whom you do not know if ask to help or what, and you do need help, you are looking for your father in that epic barren wasteland.
If you feel something, that’s the appeal!
The Game!
You are a delivery guy called courier 6, who is sent from his agency, Mojave Express to take a mysterious parcel across the Mojave Desert and into the New Vegas Strip Land.
There in the ghost town like environment the player gets ambushed, and after a miraculous survival, the player goes on to find his/her attacker, while in this journey many awesome-level strange and dangerous shit happens.
And the choices of the protagonist really alter the gaming experiences for intense immersiveness.
The Gameplay!
The gameplay is just like that of fallout 3, with a VATS system (Vault Assisted Targeting System) that is a huge part of your attacks, along with real time actions, firepower, strategy, stealth, upgrading, modifications and everything that the environment has in the store for you will be a big part of how you are supposed to roll in this one.
But the experience is totally different than Fallout 3, for F3 seemed like a linear story progress but FNV seems like a colorful display of many stories and many looks of that world.
The action and karma system of the game is perfect as before and the enemies are also really buggy and tricky. The whole thing is just you versus all the big shots of that world, really and dethroning them is what all the fun is about in here!
The Company!
Developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Bethesda Softworks for PC, PS3 and X360. It was released in October 2010.
The game!
Fallout 4 the game that gave us loads of immersive action fun, buttload of true and dangerous open missions and a terrible-terrible and most head splitting meme.
Fallout falls in one of those game categories that are carefully hand carried, breastfed and brought up like a small child by the gaming community on the internet!
So you could guess it must have loads of violence and a dog somewhere in there, that is the whole sum up of the new age modern humanity that is somehow supposed to lead us to…no one knows where, not even Satan and screw God and his lazy bum!
So the story of Fallout 4 is set something like this and buckle up people because it’s going to be a bit dusty in your eyes!
The main character (let’s call him Dude Rock, you can create male or female main character, but we want to use the name Dude Rock, so it’s a male) is allowed to enter in the vault 111 with his family the day when the bombing started and paved the way for the fallout, on October 23, 2077.
When inside the vault the hero and family is tricked to go into cryogenic chambers for some reason, many years later when they are melted back to life, Dude Rock has to see the murder of his spouse and the abduction of his son and then again he is thrown into the cryogenic chambers!
Then again many years later when due to a malfunction, he escapes his imprisonment and yearns to find out what became of his son and also avenge his wife’s murder!
The future is dark, and also kinda 50s like, so that clears it pretty much though….
The gameplay!
The game is an action adventure role playing game where you can switch to third person or first person anytime, the game features so many new gameplay concepts and mechanics in the game like armored layer system, base building, a dynamic dialogue system that has more than a whopping 111,000 dialogue lines in it!
Phew, I don’t think even Joe Pesci has ever uttered such a great amount of vile gibberish dialogues in his movies combined!
The game follows a real time attack/shoot system plus the V.A.T.S. system as well where you can stop the time, select some sensitive parts of the enemy or enemies and hit them there for the maximum damages, this bullet time thingy mechanic takes action points that recover automatically or by devouring something, irradiated!
You have like 50 normal base guns that can be upgraded and crafted by the player into over than 700 new modifications! You also have something of an Iron Man suit as your armor and you can also build your own base and settlements, guard it, provide for it and sue it to defend and attack others.
The Pip Up Boy returns and so do mole rats, super mutants, raiders, death claws and other buggers!
Plus the upgrading system returns as well named as S.P.E.C.I.A.L. where you can level up your skills and perks, there are like 275 perks in total and you know how to do it!
Plus a companion system, yes you can partner up with one companion out of 13 possible companions with which you can start romantic relationships sometime regardless of their genders!
All right, now we are talkin’!

The appeal!
It’s the goddamn Fallout series man, it’s like one of the best open world action games with intelligent and clever gameplay system, do we still need something else to make it appeal to you!
