One of the finest games ever made into the seventh generation, Heavy Rain is a companion experience. There is a story of an intense caliber, some people are out there to get to the bottom fit for their own personal needs and reasons and you as a silent friend or supporter are doing your best to help them go through it all.
There is a serial killer on the loose, The Origami Killer who drowns his victims in the extended succession of rainfalls. And four different main characters are after him for their own reasons.
The game is a great interactive experience that engages you inside of its world and mystery.
The gameplay is basically constructed of interacting with objects and people, gaining knowledge and coming to a final perception, making choices and along of it all fighting out of hostile situations using neat Quick Time Events (QTEs).
The music and sound section is a BIG part of the game and is matched by the graphic section of the game when talking about technical depths. The story and the character detailing and developments are very well said and executed and thus when all is said and done, you do not feel like it was just another game or if it was pointless or what.
It all makes sense, by engaging your wits and attention, completely.
Developed by Quantic Dream and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for PS3 and PS4, it was released in February 2010 for the PS3 and March 2016 for the PS4.
For those who like their mysteries, who adore their immersiveness and who want to see the different aspects of different actions in a game, those people will really enjoy the game, others will be heavily entertained.
