When you log into this FREE online game from the website then you are provided with a small town in an archipelago with 16 or 17 other small towns controlled by other players, in ancient Greece.
The goal of the game is simple as always, use your strategy and planning skills to expand and evolve the piece of land, in every aspect, that is to say culturally, economically, academically, army wise and in other general criteria.
The gameplay!
The gameplay is simple, you are given a few set of rules that you have to manipulate using your strategies and wits, make it all work out to gather resources and build up your town to be a big shot land in the game world.
The five main resources in the game world are Wood, Marble, Wine, Sulphur and Crystal Glass that are gathered from Sawmill, Quarry, Vineyard, Sulphur Pit and Crystal Mine respectively.
You have to send in your town folks to gather these sources then buy and build your empire with the cultural advancing units like museum, armies, research and development, entertainment and others to maintain the city infrastructure.
You could also work in alliances with other players of the world, that holds its own merits upon your own game.
Its basically like a dungeon and dragon game, with some set rules and guidelines upon which to proceed and be the best, simple.
