The Game!
The story of inFAMOUS goes like this, Cole McGrath is a delivery boy in the Empire City, where one day a great electrical explosion takes place rendering a huge part of the city turn into chaotic nightmare and it also provides Cole with some super fundoo electric powers, from lightning bolts to electric storm, he can do all that!
Now it is up to the player how he wants to do the game, because there is a Karma System in the game that prepares up the game as you make those good or bad decisions, if you are good a whole new experience will await you and if you go bad it will be different!
Quite basically you have to rid the city, which is divided into three islands with three different governing sects in them, who also are the bad guys or opponents if you decide to be the baddest, getting them down and restoring balance, one way or another is the game’s demand from you!
But then there’s Kessler!
The Gameplay!
The game uses a third person view to explore the environments.
The gameplay experience is simply amazing in one word, it’s like they give you this high profile super power and send you into a place where only the biggest club will decide the law, which only you have for everyone, the goods and the bads!
What would you do then?
And the best part is that those decisions actually matter in the later turning of the game’s experience and main storyline, it’s not just a show prop it’s actually a part of the game, the Karma!
If you are good people will support you, they will help you and fight alongside with you. And if you choose to go bad then they will hate you, throw stones at you.
Plus, the main thing of the whole gameplay is the use of these amazing electric powers, throwing bolts to disarming thugs, crippling them, exploding their body parts with higher charged electric shot or just a plain all suck in electric storm to wipe them all out at once.
Not to forget travelling through the wires all over in the city!
