The clown prince of crime, Joker tricks the Superman into killing Lois Lane and destroying the Metropolis. This enrages Superman and he evokes a new world order under his rules and commands and goes berserk with his imbalance state of mind. Batman teams up with other superheroes from the main storyline community and tries to thwart away the totalitarian reign but its not that easy when villains get into the action to win or mayhem it all into oblivion.
And that is how a universe gets destroyed kids.
The game is basically a fighting game, with that great story above pitching in between to make sense of why are we fighting. It plays like Mortal Kombat games, the new ones, because its developed by that game’s now owner, The Nether Realms Studios.
The backgrounds and the character models in the cutscenes are in full 3D environment but the actual fighting part is in 2D.
The controls are pretty tricky to master and are many in number, the characters have their own different style and moves to fight with some special takedown grabs and super moves. The main novelty of this whole thing is that you can go against Batman as Joker and see how would you do.
There are over forty different characters both hero and villains and all of them are at your service, choose whatever the hell you want to go with. Characters such as Batgirl, Bane, Cyborg Superman, Nightwing, Raven, Zod, Lobo, Killer Croc, Doomsday, Deathstroke, Harley Quinn, Reverse Flash, Solomon Grundy, Static, Zatanna and of course Scorpion, because why not?
And we are not even counting the obvious ones! Some characters are available as downloadable contents and some are exclusive with mobile versions, Scorpion is a downloadable content FYI.
Developed by Nether Realm Studios, published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for Android, iOS, PC, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Wii U, XBox 360 and XBox One, it was initially released in April 2013.
Playing as Joker, Doomsday, Deathstroke, Harley Quinn, Bane is the main attraction of this title, and of course the Kombat of the superheroes and supervillains as well.
