McDroid is a tower defense game. What is a tower defense game you ask?
As the name puts it, you have to defend a ground or object or people from an oncoming attack by carefully structuring and placing traps or weapons or “The Last Airbender” Projection Screen or other fatally harmful weapons that can annihilate and mutilate the arriving opposition.
Sometimes you are in the middle of the war, running around fixing or recharging your weapons as you try not to die yourself while doing it.
You get the idea, it’s like we used to play [insert your country’s name Vs the country you think you have rivalry with] when we were children and sometimes adults.
So you are controlling a WALL-E type building and constructing droid who has to defend various spots of this particular land from oncoming alien life forms or something..
But yeah, basically it’s defending your place against the oncoming enemy using lethal armories kinda thing.
Even after the simple premise of placing carefully planned traps, before the enemy gets there, its too much fun you guys!
Have you ever played Trapt? If not then we recommend that you play it, anyways so the tower defense sort of follow the same strategy.
And the fun comes like a great white shark sneaking on some 60s teens trying to hold their surfboards up the right way.
How? Because when you preset some deadly traps with a sort of heavy idea that some doofus will come and step over this trap I have set, he will be [insert your favorite way to dispose someone], Ha-Ha-Ha!
And then when some obnoxious bad guy gets to that point where you had your trap set, the resulting splatters are what must feel like orgasms at that moment.
It’s like being Wile E. Coyote but with success!
This is what God must feel like!
So that is all basically here, set machine guns, lasers, turrets, beams, explosives and wait for the bastards to come at ya, then BOOM, watch what YOU wrote!
Developed by Elefantopia it is available to play for PC, Linux, Mac OS, and PS4. It was released in September 2014.
It is really a fun time killer game, not a mainstream game but a time passer, a really good one indeed!
