Tower of Hero is a an incremental clicker game where you have to place heroes into a floor of an endless tower to let them fight the monster within that floor. Defeating monsters rewards you with gold coins which can be used to either upgrade your heroes or to hire soldiers which appear automatically every few seconds. Some floors contain chests with equipment to power up your heroes and soldiers.
There are also 4 different skills available:
* Doping: Increase soldier speed and appearance rate temporarily.
* Rain of Gold: Increase coin drop from fallen monsters temporarily.
* Warp: For a short time, warriors can warp to the top floor to get a huge increase in HP and offense.
* Ultimate Summon: Increase summoned at one time temporarily; continuous auto-summon with long press.
On Activation a skill lasts 30 seconds and has a cool down between 15 and 45 minutes. Some items are available to make the skills last longer or to shorten the cool down time.
When you progress to higher floors of the tower, the monster will become much stronger. You will arrive at a level where you either have to wait a long time to gather enough gold coins to get much stronger heroes and soldiers or you can start over from floor level 1 and you will lose all hero and soldier upgrades and only keep the items you found so far. Next time you reach the floor you were not able to beat, you will be stronger because you will have more items equipped and you can progress further.
On the one hand the gameplay is pretty addicting: collecting items, unlock and upgrade soldiers, but on the other hand the game is very repetitive and is monotone very soon. If you are into incremental clicker games, Tower of Hero is worth a look.
Now we will present you some games with comparable gameplay as alternative if you are looking for more games like Tower of Hero.
Infiroad and Tower of Hero are very similar. Infiroad has graphics like Tower of Hero and the gameplay is the same with the small difference that you progress along a nearly infinite road instead of a tower. Another small difference is that you can earn Mythril to upgrade your relics, so that there is not as much randomness as in Tower of Hero because you can decide yourself which power-ups help you the most. Infiroad is available as browser game and for Windows. You should download Infiroad
and play it on Windows instead of in the web browser to enjoy a better performance.
Although Tap Titans has more differences to Tower of Hero it is still very much like Tower of Hero. Main difference is that heroes are positioned around a spot where the hostile titans spawn for each level and they do not have to run to the next levels. The gameplay is still the same. Hire heroes to fight monsters with increasing strength and start over new as soon as you have problems defeating the enemies, but keep your found items to become stronger with each increment. Tap Titans was so successful that it has received a sequel called Tap Titans 2. Both Tap Titan games are available as free-to-play titles on Android and iOS.
