Voodoo Vince is what when madness and raw instinct guide a game to its ‘perfection’!
The game Voodoo Vince is a very funny, lovely and unique concept and to forewarn all of you, Night of the Museum has no madness upon this very charming title!
The game Voodoo Vince is the story of a ten inch voodoo doll made out of entirely burlap, he is the creation of Madame Charmaine who runs a voodoo shop to help people, one day the two imbecile goons of Kosmo (the main antagonist of the game) Jeb and & Fingers try to steal her magical voodoo dust for their masters evil world dominating plan.
The dust gets swished away into the atmosphere turning every non living shapely structure (like gargoyles, dinosaurs skeletons, skeleton jazz players etc) into life, and among them is Vince.
He sees his mistress getting abducted by those two but its to late to get to her (hey he is just learning how to walk, let alone run!) and then starts his and our incredible journey among the silent city of madness and magic where he is guided by Madam Charmaine telepathically into rescuing her!
The game Voodoo Vince is a platformer game that incorporates on Jak and Daxter like platforming puzzles and ascension into the game, Vince can do all the regular things like walking, running, jumping and so on and apart from that he can use his special voodoo powers to destroy nearby enemies.
Each power is used by inflicting pain upon Vince first which then magically hurts the enemy, also Vince does things like setting himself on fire and then jumping into a puddle of gasoline to set a way free to move ahead.
That is something either very funny or really, really weird and sad.
But it seems funny and it’s a game and its fun so…
The game is full of humor and jab at video game niches and all the way through the completion of the game, you will be thoroughly entertained by ether the gameplay or by the dialogues and scenes of humor.
Developed by Beep Industries and published by Microsoft Game Studios for Xbox, it was released in September 2003.
If you really liked or like games like Psychonauts or Rayman or Vexx, then Voodoo Vince won’t disappoint you, it’s a lighthearted but quiet greatly engaging game that is fun for all!
